Since 2022, the Community Expertise Workgroup (CEW) has amplified youth and family voices in policy discussions. Their first youth report, The Voices Behind the Numbers, highlights the real-life impact of juvenile justice policies and the need to center youth experiences in reform.
On February 27, 2025, CEW will present the report, beginning with a press conference at 1:00 PM at the Legislative Office Building, followed by the JJPOC’s monthly meeting at 2:00 PM, which will also serve as the Tow Youth Justice Institute’s second Fact vs. Fiction event.
