The Juvenile Justice Policy and Oversight Committee (JJPOC) is composed of diverse members who represent various branches of government, agencies, and organizations that work collaboratively to improve Connecticut’s juvenile justice system. Each member plays a vital role in ensuring that youth involved in the system are treated fairly, effectively, and in a developmentally appropriate manner.

An appointee is someone officially selected to serve on the JJPOC by an authorized individual or body, such as the Governor, legislative leaders, or agency heads.
